Phra Lp Thuad 龙婆托 (Shenzhen Version) Pim Lek (RED) BE2539 Phor Than Wan Apiyo Wat Saba You Blessed by Archan Nong Wat Sai Khao

Background

The Phra Luang Pu Thuad amulet, often referred to as the “Shenzhen Version,” Pim Lek (small mold), was crafted and consecrated in B.E. 2539 (1996) at Wat Saba You, Thailand. This amulet is highly revered for its legendary protective qualities and connection to Luang Pu Thuad, one of Thailand’s most respected spiritual figures.

Creators and Blessings

  • Phor Than Wan Apiyo: The abbot of Wat Saba You oversaw the creation of this batch of amulets. Known for his spiritual dedication, Phor Than Wan is regarded as a highly skilled monk who follows the lineage of great Thai Buddhist masters.
  • Archan Nong of Wat Sai Khao: The amulets were further sanctified by Archan Nong, a direct disciple of Archan Tim of Wat Chang Hai, the monk who originally popularized the Luang Pu Thuad amulets. Archan Nong is recognized for his advanced spiritual practices and mastery in amulet consecration.

Materials and Design

The Pim Lek (small mold) version of this amulet was crafted using sacred materials, including:

  • Sacred powders derived from holy scriptures, temples, and previous Luang Pu Thuad amulet batches.
  • Herbs and minerals with auspicious properties.
  • Nam Rerk (sacred clay) obtained from significant spiritual sites.

The design features Luang Pu Thuad in a seated meditative position, with detailed craftsmanship emphasizing simplicity and spiritual presence.

Key Event: The Shenzhen Plane Crash

This amulet gained legendary status following a plane crash in Shenzhen, China, during the late 1990s. Survivors of this tragic accident were reportedly wearing the Phra Luang Pu Thuad (Shenzhen Version) amulet. This incident sparked widespread belief in the amulet’s powerful protective properties, particularly for life-threatening situations. The story greatly increased the demand and respect for this specific batch.

Consecration Ceremony

The amulets underwent a meticulous consecration process:

  1. Initial Ceremony: Conducted by Phor Than Wan Apiyo at Wat Saba You, where sacred incantations and rituals were performed to imbue the amulets with spiritual energy.
  2. Main Blessing: The amulets were taken to Wat Sai Khao, where Archan Nong conducted a secondary consecration. His renowned mastery in chanting sacred mantras and invoking the blessings of Luang Pu Thuad ensured the spiritual potency of these amulets.

Significance of the Shenzhen Version

  • Protection: The amulet is believed to offer unparalleled protection, particularly in dangerous situations such as accidents and natural disasters.
  • Good Fortune: Devotees also attribute good luck, prosperity, and spiritual guidance to this amulet.
  • Historical Value: The connection to the Shenzhen incident has made this version of the Phra Luang Pu Thuad amulet especially famous and valuable among collectors.

Legacy and Popularity

The Phra Luang Pu Thuad (Shenzhen Version) Pim Lek BE2539 remains highly sought after due to:

  1. Its association with Archan Nong and his lineage to Wat Chang Hai.
  2. The legendary Shenzhen plane crash incident that amplified its protective reputation.
