1. Purpose of Creation

This amulet was created by Luang Phor Muan with the intention to:

• Spread blessings of wealth, prestige, and good fortune to his disciples

• Raise funds for the restoration of Wat Sai and support temple activities

• Promote faith in the Dhamma and spiritual development in both Thai and Chinese Buddhist communities in Nakhon Pathom and Bangkok

2. Design and Features

• Obverse (Front): Classic Somdej sitting Buddha posture in Samadhi, symbolizing mental calm and spiritual strength

• Reverse (Back): Features a stamped Yant (sacred geometric script) believed to empower the amulet with Metta Mahaniyom (charm and kindness) and Klaew Klaad (safety and obstacle avoidance)

• The name “Sum Kor” (meaning “Complete Wealth” or “High Nobility”) represents the goal of abundance in material and spiritual life

3. Sacred Material (Nur Din)

The clay used was a carefully prepared sacred mixture, including:

• Soil from sacred temple grounds in Nakhon Pathom and Bangkok

• Powdered fragments of ancient votive tablets

• Earth collected from holy sites with Buddhist historical significance

• Mixed with herbal ashes and candle wax from long chanting sessions at Wat Sai

• Sun-dried and chanted over many sessions before pressing

4. Consecration Ceremony (Phuttha Phisek)

• Held at Wat Sai, B.E. 2514, under the guidance of Luang Phor Muan

• Attended by senior monks from surrounding provinces, including those from Wat Bang Phra, Wat Klang Bang Kaew, and Wat Sam Ngam

• Included continuous chanting of protective sutras (Parittas) for several nights

• Luang Phor Muan was known for his mastery in incantations and sacred geometry, ensuring the amulet was ritually complete
