Purpose of Creation

Phra Sivali amulets were created by LP Kuay during the later period of his life, primarily between B.E. 2515 and B.E. 2521, to bless devotees with:

• Prosperity in life and business

• Ease in travel and safe passage

• Attraction of goodwill and metta (loving-kindness)

  The amulet was also distributed to those who supported the temple financially or materially during major restoration and expansion projects.

Material Composition (Nur Phong)

The amulet was pressed using a sacred herbal powder mixture that included:

• Phong Bailan (burnt palm-leaf scriptures)

• Sacred powders from earlier amulets and ceremonies

• Ashes from incense and candles used in LP Kuay’s own rituals

• Temple soils and flower pollens collected from multiple holy sites

The result was a dark-colored amulet, often black or brown, with a natural texture and earthy scent. Some amulets were mixed with fine gold dust or crushed old amulets from past consecrations.

Design and Features

• The image of Phra Sivali is depicted in the standing posture, holding an alms bowl and walking staff, carrying his monk’s belongings—a traditional portrayal based on Buddhist scripture.

• Some versions are stamped with temple marks or hand-pressed by LP Kuay himself.

• The back may be plain or carry yantra markings or consecration impressions.

• Sizes vary slightly, and molds are handcrafted, giving each piece a unique character.

Blessing and Consecration

The amulets were blessed through:

• Repeated solo consecration sessions by LP Kuay during periods of intense meditation

• Chanting of specific katha, including those related to Phra Sivali, metta, and wealth

• Some batches were included in larger group blessing ceremonies at Wat Kositaram, along with other sacred items

The period B.E. 2515–2521 was considered LP Kuay’s peak in meditative strength and spiritual focus, making this series of amulets especially revered.

Spiritual Properties

Phra Sivali is known in Buddhist belief as the arahan of fortune, and LP Kuay’s Sivali amulets are believed to carry the following powers:

• Metta Mahaniyom – attracting love, kindness, and support

• Chok Larp – bringing luck and financial fortune

• Klaew Klad – ensuring safety in travel and freedom from danger

• Serm Duang – enhancing one’s destiny and life opportunities

Rarity and Collector Interest

• Original pieces made between B.E. 2515 and B.E. 2521 are considered rare and highly collectible, especially those verified to have been hand-pressed or personally blessed by LP Kuay.

• Due to high demand, many pieces were kept privately by disciples and only emerged in circulation decades later.

• Their authenticity is typically verified through mold characteristics, powder texture, and temple-proven provenance.
