Wat Mae Nang Pluem (วัดแม่นางปลื้ม)

  • Location: Khlong Sra Bua Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

  • Former Name: Wat Tha Khlong (วัดท่าโขลง)

  • Established: Estimated around B.E. 1920 (1377 A.D.), Ayutthaya Early Period

  • Historical Significance: A royal temple renovated by King Naresuan the Great to honor Mae Pluem, a kind elderly woman who cared for him in his youth.
