Title: History of Rian Luang Pho Phiw (Luang Pho Phiw), Run 3, Copper

Year of Issue: BE 2515 (1972 CE)

Material: Copper (Romedang)

Temple: Wat Song Ngam, Prachin Buri Province

Edition Name: Run 3 (Third Running Series)

1. Background and Purpose

The Rian Run 3 was created in BE 2515 during the later years of Luang Pho Phiw’s abbotship at Wat Song Ngam. This was the third official medallion released under his name and was issued for the purpose of fundraising for temple restoration and community Dharma activities. It also commemorated the significant spiritual leadership he provided for the Prachin Buri region.

2. Creator – Luang Pho Phiw Silwisuttho

Luang Pho Phiw, also known as Phra Khru Silwisutthachan, was the abbot of Wat Song Ngam for over six decades and was one of the most highly respected monks in eastern Thailand. He was known for his deep compassion, mastery in healing arts, and active role in the preservation and promotion of Buddhism through both infrastructure development and spiritual training.

He held several monastic titles throughout his lifetime and played an instrumental role in spreading Dhamma and sacred science in the region.

4. Consecration Ceremony

The Rian Run 3 was consecrated in a major Buddhist blessing ceremony held at Wat Song Ngam. Luang Pho Phiw presided over the chanting and empowerment process. Several other renowned monks from surrounding provinces also joined the ritual to empower the batch.

The consecration included multiple rounds of chanting, anointing with sacred oil, and focused meditative transference of spiritual energy into each piece.
