Education

During this period he also became familiar with temple life and Buddhist teachings, which later influenced his decision to enter the religious path.
Novice and Monastic Training
When he reached the age of fourteen, he ordained as a novice monk (samanera) at Wat Nong Lao. During this time he began studying Vipassanā meditation, a practice focused on insight and mindfulness.
He continued his monastic training until the age of twenty, when he received full ordination as a Buddhist monk at the same temple. He remained in the monkhood for approximately two years.
His meditation teacher during this period was Phra Maha Thonglat, under whom he developed deeper understanding of meditation and Buddhist teachings.
Study of Sacred Sciences
Afterward, Archan Thamheung continued his studies at Wat Khu Khad, where he trained under Phra Khru Srisutaphon, a respected monk of Ban Khu Khad.
Under this teacher he studied both Vipassanā meditation and various forms of traditional sacred sciences, including ritual knowledge and spiritual disciplines that were part of the local religious heritage.
Later he also traveled to Ban Chi Thuan, where he continued studying meditation and sacred practices with another master. Through years of study and dedication, his knowledge and skill gradually developed, and he eventually became recognized as a practitioner with deep understanding of both meditation and traditional magical knowledge.
